What is a Righteous Rave?
Righteous Raves is a worship and prayer experience that combines dynamic gospel house and other gospel oriented electronic music (such as Gospel DnB), with immersive visuals, live artistry, and a dedicated space for intercession. Rooted in the belief that God created all music as a means to glorify Him, this event is intended to draw people to worship the living God through dance and song.
Who are we?
Righteous Raves is a movement of believers who love the Lord, and love to dance to electronic, DJ-led music. In 2 Samuel 6:14, David danced before the Lord with all his might to celebrate the return of the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem. In Exodus 15:20, Miriam, Moses' sister, danced with other women of Israel to celebrate God's deliverance of Israel through the Red Sea. Psalm 149:3 says "Let them praise his name in the dance…” and Psalm 150:4 says "Praise him with the timbrel and dance".
